Oil on canvas. 53"x40". Years back i made a sketch for this.
Selfies
oil on panel. 20"x16". I wanted to paint selfies. Lini had her B-day party and everyone took one. Then i painted. And they wore the same hat, a gift from the Wilkinson's.
Work above work
part of my selfie series (20"x16"), paintings i made while at the firehouse gallery, for the Brewster ladies library now up. Transition.
swing
oil on canvas. rope and wood seat. approx. 24"X48" plus rope extension. The 3rd object framed by its subject. this is my favorite as the frame interacts with the environment.
Stumped
Oil on panel. about 33"x33". This was the first in a series of 3 paintings where the subject painted was used for framing. In this case, oak branches for an oak stump.
Morning waves
morning waves are moments i captured @Nauset Beach this summer. Most are 8x10 and 10x12. It was fun making these and there are about 20 in the Firehouse show.
